[Pyrex] finding the correct compiler

this isn't a pyrex question, but i thought someone here might be able to 
help me.  i have both vc 6.0 and vc .net installed.  when i compile my 
pyrex code, distutils finds my vc 6.0 compiler.  does anyone know how to 
tell distutils to use the vc .net compiler?  i'm hoping i don't have to 
uninstall vc 6.0 so distutils will find the other one.
