[Pyrex] Ignoring warnings and lots of TEXTRELS

Are these warning anything to be concerned about?

warning: assignment makes pointer from integer without a cast
warning: use of cast expressions as lvalues is deprecated

Also the generated .so file contains TEXTRELs 

readelf -d sharedobj.so | grep TEXTREL

Why would the shared object contain TEXTRELs?
