Well, it's used in production in a couple of places (we use it to build lxml)
and I didn't hear about any problems with it. It's known to work under Linux
and Windows (without complains from other users), and produces code that
compiles in a C++ environment.

Note that you can easy_install that version through a URL like

http://codespeak.net/svn/lxml/pyrex/#egg=Pyrex-lxml
