[Pyrex] Pyrex Mac OS X _Filemodule.c

Dear all,

I am trying to run Pyrex on my Intel Mac OS X, but have a problem  
after installation: installing Pyrex 0.9.4.1 for Python 2.4.3 on Mac  
OS X 10.4.8 is basically no problem. Yet, when trying to run the  
tests (bin/run_tests), I get this error message:

Carbon.File.FSCatalogInfo does not support access to finderInfo.
Patched version of _Filemodule.c needs to be compiled.
Source is in the Pyrex/Mac directory.

Now, I found the file (called _Filemodule_patched.c), but I do not  
understand what I should be doing with it? I also tried to install  
pyrexc from fink (using "fink install pyrex-py24") and fixing up the  
softlinks so the right pyrexc would be used, but this did not help,  
either.

Could somebody help me on what/whereto/whatever I should do with the  
patched file version? I am kind of clueless - but I have the feeling  
I am simply missing on a trivial step. Thanks!
