[Pyrex] newbie question: error using pyrex

Hi,

Thanks to all of you.
The naming problem was indeed the major mistake. (There where a few
minor things as well, but with the help of the docs and the mailing list
archive I was able to resolve those issues.)

The final speedup of my code (after twisting a few lines in the python
code, too) is > 90 %. (A 'real' benchmark for comparison would be hard
to write, though.)

Sometimes I like writing C, but Pyrex is definitively easier once you
know where to look for.
