[Pyrex] Using Pyrex or pyrex-like tool for embedding python into C?

Hi,

Is it possible to use Pyrex (or may be Cython?) to write programs
to embedding python code into C-programs? Embedding seems very
similar to what Pyrex already doing today. Am I missed something?
