You can't, sorry. I'm trying to migrate everyone to the new
scheme because it's a lot less error-prone, and I can't see a
way of supporting both at the same time without losing the
benefits.

I suppose I could provide a compiler option to suppress the
warning, but I worry that people would just use it instead of
updating their code. Then when I come to make the switch,
their code would suddenly break.

So I'm inflicting a bit of pain now in order to spare people
a nasty surprise later.
